Family Fun Night

Hi everyone.

This FFN I wanted to do a Halloween craft session! I love crafting and it is a good pass time with the family. Plus this craft session has a theme. HALLOWEEN.

If you have something different that you would like to do, then you are welcome to bring it along and share with the group. Please send an email to me with your idea and the materials that you require for the craft so that I can send the materials list to the others who may want to participate in that particular craft.

So here are my ideas.

Black Bat or mice and mouse hole cut outs.

All that is required for this craft is a black piece of poster board and scissors. I can supply the thread to hang the bats with.

Orange pumpkin tins.

If you want to do this craft then bring veggie, soup, or coffee cans. I will supply the spray paint.

Jack-o-lantern leaves-

Bring an exacto knife-a box cutter will be too big for this project.

Skull Potato Stamp-

Bring a potato and anything that you want to stamp a skull on.

Polka dotted pumpkins-

These are just cute. I wanted to post a picture so that you could see them and maybe do them at home closer to Halloween. They will only last 2 weeks. Then they start to get yucky. But here is what you need to make them.

As many small pumpkins that you would like to buy. A hole saw. Then you just cut the top off, pull out the insides, carve some of the pulp out, and drill the holes into the pumpkins.

I get this early ad off of afullcup.com. I pair these deals up with coupons from thecouponclippers.com a day ahead before the ad comes out on Wednesday at 12 am. A lot of people do not know about this early ad so they stay up until 12 am Wednesday morning. Then they get all of the good coupons and when I log on Wednesday morning (because I can't stay up late) all of the good coupons are gone. So, I learned my lesson the first time. Now I log on a day early (during normal hours) and get all of my coupons with no problem. I tweet updates when I get this ad or you could just look it up yourself. Sometimes they even post on MONDAY!!!

So I went to the grocery store today. It is SUPER DOUBLE week at Harris Teeter. My friends and I have been waiting for this week!!! I have been to HT about 4 or 5 times this week. The deals are so great and you can only use 20 coupons per visit, so I have to visit frequently. Well here is what I got for $9.59.
