The Slice or The Cricut

So I am trying to make a decision. Do I want a Slice or the Cricut? They both are expensive gadgets but I will buy them 2nd hand. You know that's "how I do." I need to get my hands on both of them before I buy one.
I don't do scrapbooking (a lot of people think they are just for scrapbookers). I want to make stencils for clothing, making signs, writing on walls, etc. It also would be nice to make vinyl stencils that adhere to the wall (I am sure you have seen them in the stores for $20). I also sew and with the newest Cricut you can cut fabric into appliques. Nice....

My latest craft invention-Puppy Pals

A while back my children were given a set of terry cloth finger puppets for bath time play. They didn't really use them, so I decided to stick dog treats in the backs where normally their finger would go. Now it takes the dogs an hour to eat a treat instead of one second.

The idea is kind of like the Kong. However, this is soft and easier for pups to get to the treat. My dogs have never really taken much interest in a Kong and now they actually fight over the puppy pal.

My newest gadget...ROOMBA

So today my dh brought home an iRobot, just for me!!!! I have been wanting one for about a year now.

There are many reasons why I needed such a wonderful device. For one, I am a busy mom. Secondly, I vacuum my carpets twice a day, due to messy pets and children. I also, vacuum my laundry room between 2-5 times a day (we have litter boxes in there that my 2 dogs and cat use) and the kitchen gets vacuumed 1-2 times daily. I thought, I could be doing so many other things if I had this wonderous gadget. And now I do.

So today was the first day I put Miss. Roomba to work in my home. She did great. However, I didn't accomplish much while she was vacuuming because I was in awe by her skills. I followed her from room to room, my heart filled with joy. The whole point of buying Miss. Roomba was to accomplish other domestic tasks in the home and I didn't really get anything done. Although, I am sure that I am not the first iRobot owner to follow the roomba around the house on its maiden voyage.
